The Poisoned 025: Avalanche Exia of DABAN MODEL

There weren't enough pictures of the sprues but it's seems legit. Daban Model will try to compete AGAIN using the same model Dragon Momoko will be releasing. They are now going to release the Avalanche Exia. Base on the image, it seems you will have the option of getting the Exia with some extra parts and of course the parts to build the Avalanche Exia.

But Dragon Momoko seems to be doing the same thing! They have posted pictures ( I will post it in my blog) that you will have at least 55 sprues/runners in the kit. That being said, then there's a high probability you will also get the whole Exia and the parts for the Avalanche mode SEPARATELY. Well that's great news and a huge decision-wrecker because we both know Dragon Momoko and Daban Model have their own unique methods to get their consumers.

The question now will be the same back when they both released the Strike Freedom ver MB. The parts separation (putting the foil stickers into consideration) and plastic quality will be the key factors here.

  1. hi sir Mad! consider me a new fan of your blog.

is revealed that DABAN will make an Avalanche Exia ver. MB WITH an option to make the Exia alone? because if so, DABAN won this match. because as of now, I still haven't got a clue about the final runners and parts for the Avalanche Exia ver. MB Dragon Momoko is making. and I'm REALLY looking forward for and option for an Exia only kit, well, to complete my Setsuna F. Seie suits and all.

more power to you and your blog.

    1. I already said this above. Yes, it seems Daban will feature their product to have a separate Exia and that you have the option of adding the parts to build the Avalanche Exia. And based on the image above (just sent to me as well), you also have parts for the R3 Exia design.

But after getting some info from my Gunpla Spy, Dragon Momoko woould be doing the same thing. The kit features at least 53 to 55 sprues/runners. With that in mind, we can expect that the Avalanche Exia of Dragon Momoko has a separate Exia.

    2. Dragon momoko really has a separate Exia! Somebody I've known already build one! And in fact the Avalanche is just an armor to be put on to Exia!

    3. I got confused.. a commentator below said that you don't get the separated Exia in DM. And I thought he is referring to Momoko.

Just please be specific what DM are we talking to guys. xD

I guess we just have to wait for the news in Daban's side if it features the same thing. :/

    2. The momoko not having a separate part to build exia means nothing for me as the kit was EXTREMELY SOLID.Its realy Bafling that for how huge Avalance Exia dash was, and how heavy his weapons were, it holds its poses. DM do not disapoint

  3. Not to mention, i've expirience the Daban metal build before, and i say despite the grand part separation, those missfit parts and missmolds just make the Daban MB a stationary shelf display as posing them can turn into a plastic grenade. As the DM metal build MG's are quite more satisfying to pose.the strike might have some omited part separation, but once all the decals are applied, you would notice none of these omited details.
