Many thought Daban Model was being lame for not adding the Wings of Light. Momoko released theirs and and the enthusiasts who prefer Daban were disappointed.
As I said on the 2 albums in the comments section (SF Daban and SF DM), Daban released the first batch without the WoL to gain some early profit even though their WoL isn't done yet. This info was shared on a certain gunpla group and was posted by a colleague. So yeah, this information isn't mine but quite reliable since the conversation was between that guy and Gundam Central.
Now that the awaited WoL or Wings of Light for Daban Model is true, let's check some other factors here.
First is that the boxart is better than Momoko's usual brown box. The word fighter and some Chinese characters are printed on the front, but it still features that nice Strike Freedom with the WoL attached.
Second is the plastic tray inside this box. It was nice of Daban to think this through making sure the items inside won't get damaged. I haven't seen Momoko's side but this is a nice feature.
And the third would be on the second picture. If you look closely on the manual for the WoL, there's a section where it shows the rods that will hold the beam cannons. In the image, it looks like the rods are already molded to a certain position and you just need to attach it on the pedestal or base. *On the second image, I think it's included if you look at the clear tray's left side.

DeleteSyempre hindi lahat accurate and pasa-pasa na lang. So ang mangyayari siguro ay babawi yung Daban para maihabol yung batch na may kasamang WoL. And then afterwards baka separate purchase na din.

ReplyDeleteYep kea in total mas mahal sya kumpara ke DM yung price ni daban kasi is 1800-1900 plus yung wing na 600 halos 2.4-2.5 din sya
DeleteNo offense if this was read by other Pinoy gunpla sellers or online sellers but I think it's kinda of "greedy" to put a high price on the add-on when it was mentioned it was supposed to be part of the package.

The factory or source had to sell it which is the cause why there's a price for the WoL. Also, I am thinking that these must be the separate ones or not included in the set (kit+wol)
There's also the idea that the people are trying to gain more money IF AND ONLY IF the factory sold it as complete set (kit+wol) but the Pinoy gunpla/online sellers will sell if to the market SEPARATELY, which is kind of disappointing. :/
It can't be helped though.. they can't be blamed if they needed the money. But I hope they are not abusing the info or fact that it was supposed to be whole and not meant to be sold separately. BUT! If the add-on item was actually sold to them like I said, then it's okay and just accept the "pricey truth".
Well, these are just my thoughts but this info have been true in the market til now. Ask other sellers if they are part of the set and/or how much is the total price for the set. I would like to know so I can out this info on the review.

ReplyDeletesir tanong ko lang sa mga naka pag built na ng daban sf.di po ba tumatama yung dulo ng wing kapag na spread na sya ng mataas? di po yta sya na aadjust like ng sa momoko..
