The Poisoned 037: Freedom 2.0 of DABAN MODEL

I'm already fine with my Bandai, but "deeeeeyyymm". Daban really put up the hype for showing their next kit.
The images are posted by OMG (Oh My Gundam) and they already said theya re now accepting pre-orders - that means this kit is legit.

So what do you think guys? Will Daban Model inherit the same issue on that waist inner frame peg? As I recall, Bandai's version got a fragile peg or connector on the waist. I hope Daban Model will rectify this situation. I am also hoping they would add the waterslides as as first batch deal.

    1. Not a hoax because OMG already posted a thread for those who wants to order.

Also, there are now pics in weibo site which is a good source for legit new kits from daban. ;)

I already have the Bandai one but I am planning to get this after some time - review purposes.

    3. I was about to buy the BANDAI Freedom 2.0. But I'll buy this one instead. haha. Love the added details on the wing part. and it has a really high chance of them inheriting BANDAI's Waist joints.

  7. It may take some time but there's a possibility they will copy Justice in the future.

  9. Daban is detailed with decals obviously while bandai is snap built, bias comparison lol

    1. biased? wrong..
You just OVERLOOKED the comparison and only checked the common ones

      Picture A - Front Skirts
Daban's is wider and they have added extra panel lines where bandai is plain

      Picture B - Shoulder Armor
Daban's detailing is really noticeable because it's bulkier there's a raised surface on the front. Bandai's version is doesn't have the circular detail on the top side but Daban have them.

      Picture C - Wings
Did you not see the detailing that Daban added some panel lines near the vents on top side?
Daban also added a gap - an actual vent on the middle portion where the markings are placed, while Bandai is a closed one where you can just add panel lines.

I am not saying Bandai lost because they have always been on top specially in Plastic Quality and precise detailing (sharp edges, deeper panel lines, etc)
Next time sir, look closely before you judge. ;)

    2. I don't know if I should laugh or get angry because you didn't looked closely on those things. LOL xD

    3. He/she has a point
Its not a fair comparison seeing the bandai one is just snapbuilt while the daban one is obviously painted and decalled up. it would be great if both of them were just ootb builds but seeing that the daban one is already detailed up. It seems like an unfair comparison

  10. Looks like Daban finally realized how ridiculous the 'Fighter' name on every Gundam type kits. I think I'll get this one instead.

    1. I haven't built one myself but I there are lots of builders who already tried this kit. As far as I know, it's a good one and the detailing is really great because of the added parts separation.

  12. i had bad experience w/ daban when i tried to build MG ARF Daban, some parts were really hard to snapfit (u need extra power and extra work to smoothen the plastics) there's so many pieces broken and now it just become spareparts for my MG ARF Bandai. is it just me or everybody has the same problems ?

Damn I love Bootlegs especially MC Model and Dragon Momoko

    1. Same, but the only problem I experience was the broken connector for the backpack.
And Daban's ARF is an old kit so the plastic quality isn't that great compared to the new kits they have released now.

You can check my review for the ARF to see that problem.

    2. so does it mean the plastic quality from the newer daban's model is much better than the old ones ?
i kinda want to buy daban's freedom but my experience from daban's ARF kind oh holding me back LOL

    3. Yep, they've gotten better.

This is just my personal opinion but, I don't think having few mistakes on a single kit would stop me from buying the same brand. I do like the challenge and I should always consider that there will always be issues especially to any bootleg brands. There are no 100% perfect bootlegs. This is where my skills in building are put to the test.

  13. do you have any review about MG Daban ARF Mars Jacket ?

    1. No I haven't built the kit. As a matter of fact I am now jobless and I am worried with a lot of expenses aside from my Gunpla plans. :(
