After a long while I have been thinking of stepping it up. Many of my friends and other builders have suggested this to me and I think I should start preparing for it now. My work here is done and I won't post anymore reviews or news here. Am I quitting? No. I want to enter a bigger territory and that is YouTube. :)
Yes. My review for Astray Blue Frame 3rd might be the first series of videos inside the channel once I finish making preparations. It's going be a lot more work than writing because I have to edit videos now and that's not really my specialty. The first videos or recordings will be crappy as well but I will slowly save some funds to improve them.
I will edit this last post and post the channel once it goes live. :)

Update 17/03/2021: Due to some delays in my expected funds, I will have to wait until I can finally start recording. I also need a second kit in order to make at least 5-7 weeks worth of videos (probably 1 video per week). Upload intervals will be shortened I can handle getting new kits every month.
Update 25/03/2021: I already posted my first video on YouTube! Well, I still need a couple of videos before my channel becomes visible. This is the link to my first video and that's the unboxing of ABF 3rd. Astray Blue Frame 3rd | Dragon Momoko Unboxing Full - YouTube
Update 20/03/2021: YouTube Channel - Madman Jeshiro - YouTube (only 3 videos so far and it's for Astray Blue Frame 3rd)
Salamat sir. Nag check muna ako sa blog mo ng review bago ako bumili ng kit. Looking forward sa YT reviews.
ReplyDeleteI always love reading your reviews of Gunpla kits. They're very informative, there's really something captivating about reading reviews on text and pictures. I'm glad that you will be migrating to a youtube as it is a more popular platform. However, there are many Gunpla review channel already and if you are really serious about creating a channel, you need to bring something new to the table aside from reviewing out of the box snap built knockoff or bandai kits
ReplyDeleteYeah I am aware of the situation and I am planning to focus more on 3rdparty brands or bootlegs since they have very few reviews compared to Bandai. It's already a huge gap for me if I want to compete against others when it comes to Bandai kits. But I will still add a few reviews on Bandai kits because there are other kits that I like from their line.
DeleteI will try to incorporate the same things I do here using videos. Not sure how the results will work out though. I will not include any of my voice and and just same read-on texts as subtitles for each part I'm building. I really do hope for a good impression once it goes live. Right now I am still saving some money for a 2nd kit because I want to have least 2 months worth of videos (1 per week). I don't want to keep my colleagues hanging.
And also, thank you for your warm comment. I know that my experience is limited yet there are other builders, like you, who would still read on a simple review page like mine.
