Introduction:
It’s not much of a surprise to see the Heine Westenfluss
color scheme from Dragon Momoko’s hands. Well they already have the base model
so it was just a matter of time from them to put this into reality. What I am
looking forward is for them to release the Destiny in Strike Freedom Colors.
Well I kind of like the Heine Westenfluss color but I am not much of a fan of
the mobile suit Destiny.
There won’t be any parts exploded view here because most
of the issues are pretty much the same with their old Destiny. But I will
compare the color with the original Destiny in each body part. I will not share
any articulation pointers as well. The Destiny in HW color will always be on
the right side of the mat.
If you want to know about its common issues, please do

Unboxing:
You get the usual box design here. There were no special features or new designs on the box like what they did on Strike Freedom ver MB.
Here are the contents of the box.
You get 10 plastic bags inside the kit with at least 3 sprues packed again. Fortunately, there were no broken parts. As you see, you will be forced to get the other action base if you don't like this one.
I will show you the sprues included here even though I will not include the parts exploded view.
Everything is the same with the original Destiny and the only noticeable change
here are the two wing effects. You get an orange color plastic to match the
wings.
Sprues:
The kit also includes your usual set of waterslide decals, foil stickers, and the wire for the launch pad.
I took some pictures for the list of sprues inside the box.
The construction manual is still the same only with a different model. It will show the finished model and its gimmicks on the first and last pages.
If you noticed, the WoL isn't featured here. It's because the new Wings of Light or Wing Expansion Unit kit was inteded for the original colors. Even the color of the wings of light matches the wigns and they were not orange in color. But it can still be an optional add-on for Heine W. Colors.
I love the color of the white sprues here and maybe you
can do some switching to make the Destiny even whiter instead of using his
usual gray-color parts. The downside however is that Destiny HW will use the
gray parts and I am not sure if the gray parts look good with red and orange.
Another pointer here is the small waterslide sheet with
some gold markings. The gold isn’t the same bright gold you see in the Strike
Freedom ver Mb. This one has a dull or sepia tone in it. It was kind of a
surprise to see the backing paper in white instead of the commonly used blue.
So please take note that this sheet is a waterslide decal.
The other wide sheet on the other hand isn’t that
satisfactory to my taste. Quality is good and there’s no question about it. What I
am disappointed is the lack of caution markings or seals. Most of them are just
logos and I’m sure you will not apply all of them. So that’s just my personal
issue that it could have been good if there were more caution markings to use
for the legs, arms and wings.

The other weapons look the same so I only featured the shield.

As I mentioned, I don't like the larger sheet because it lacks caution seals that I can use. But it's just enough to add life to your kit.

design based from GDC card |
First is the Plastic Quality which
is 1 point higher from my old review. I'm not sure but it kind of felt like
Dragon Momoko did something to improve the plastic. The black parts don’t have
that chalky feel when I cut the nubs and I like it that way. On their first
Destiny, the black sprues were bad in quality and leaves this rough nub marks
even with the help of fresh x-acto blades. I didn’t sand the parts here in
Heine because the plastic was still ‘soft” for my taste and can lead to visible
scratches easily.
The articulation is now 1 point
higher simply because I haven’t fully appreciated what Destiny can do in terms
of this feature. Besides, I was aiming for Strike Freedom ver MB back then so
my focus wasn’t that fair. Anyways, I take back what I said regarding its legs.
The articulation is really good that can perform dynamic poses. The side skirts
may get in the way but rotating it can do the trick for better movement range.
I changed the Gimmicks and put it
1 point lower compared to my old review for Destiny. Well I am now separating
my comments for articulation, weapons and extras so it’s kind of natural to put
this on a lower rating especially if there were not much to see in a kit. But I
still put into consideration what the kit can feature in terms of weapons and
articulation and that can also affect the my ratings for the Gimmicks section.
I also out the Extra section in a
lower rating because I am a person that appreciates lots of freebies (LOL).
This is just my personal rating and the kit features the extra beam effects,
the wobbly thin plastic WoL, and the launch pad.
The other issues and comments,
like I said, are already mentioned on my old Destiny ver MB review. If you have

yo Madjesh, could you tell me the weight of this kit? there should be some info printed on the box of it. I'm getting suspicious to some sellers because they mention that the weight of this kit reaches 4 Kgs. If what's printed on the box is different from what they mention, I'd like to try to report them. Thank you
ReplyDeleteAs I recall, there is nothing printed on the box. And I doubt it's 4kgs.
DeleteI think it's near 1 and half kg or near 2 kg because the sprue frames (runners) and the brown box inside do weighs a lot.
Forget that 2 kg.. I don't think it would eb that heavy though.. The 1 and half kg could be far more accurate. And it might probably less than that.
DeleteDo you still keep the box? It might provide some info about the weight thus i can strengthen my claim later
DeleteNo I don't have the box anymore because this kit isn't mine.
DeleteI do have the box for the Destiny with the original colors. They have the same design of the box so I checked earlier and there was no information written about the weight of the box. Sorry. :/
Good news, a friend of mine from Team Classified shared the info.
DeleteHere's the address - https://web.facebook.com/dragonmomoko/posts/1272499542814453
That's from Dragon Momoko's FB page so you have a solid claim that the box is not 4kg.
Go screenshot the info that it only weighs 1.8kg
Okay bro, lemme try asking these sellers
Deletethanks for your help
